This is one of the best capture boxes i have every used. This is a great product. I own a PS4 and the PS4's native "share" capability is not that good. Video recordings are highly compressed and look sub-720p when uploading to YouTube. So i got this to record HD 1080p un-compressed videos and it's been working great.
A big positive over using this instead of the share button on the PS4 (besides quality) is that the PS4 share button actually stops you from recording certain pivotal scenes from a game. A recent example is that in the game Batman: Arkham Knight the recording automatically stops once you enter a scene where an identity of a villain is revealed. With this capture box, i can easily record that scene with no interruptions or any other problems.
This also comes with a video editing software and the license key to use it, i haven't tried it yet as i use my own editing software, but it looks pretty good and lightweight to me.
Overall, this is a great game capture box and at a great price. I highly recommend it.
