Product Review: Rear Bike Light

I've owned some really bad bike tail lights before, they've been loose, they've been not very bright, but this one is so much better. This has actually replaced my other bike light that I've been using for the past two years. First of all it's very durable. It doesn't look like it would break easily. It also attaches to the bike tightly, so i don't have to worry about it falling. There are no nails or anything involved, it just straps on easily.

The best part is how bright it is, it's not too bright to annoy anyone who's behind me, but it's bright enough to be noticeable. The light is rechargeable, but it lasts for so long that i haven't even had to charge it once yet since i've started using it.

Another important thing to not is that there is a lifetime warranty on this, so if anything happens to it, you can get another for free. In that alone, this light is worth the cheap investment.

This is a great and powerful bike light and i highly recommend it.

Product Review: Pocket Scissor

Not sure when i'll ever need a tiny scissor in my keychain, but if i ever do this one has me covered. It's pretty durable and well made, i don't have to worry about it breaking after cutting some hardcore paper. It slides back in easily, there's no trouble with having to squeeze it in.

Book Review: Riding

This is a book i had never heard of before. I found out about this book after I was gifted a copy from the author to review. I had no idea what to expect as i loaded up the first page on my kindle, and i have to say i found this book to be surprisingly good and completely delightful. The book features a series of shorts looking into the cyclists that participated in the Olympic games. Each of these shorts dedicates itself to showing the incredible perseverance and dedication these people have.

I found most of the shorts to be interesting and a good read. There was one that i felt was a little too on the boring side, but thankfully it's just one of many.

Weather you're looking for inspiration or a cozy story to read about great people, you should check out this book. It's very well written and moves along nicely. I highly recommend it.

These are very high quality tweezers, they are well made that can get even the shortest hair and pull them out easily.The coating on the tweezers make the handles very easy to grip onto. There are no worries of the handles slipping when pulling.

Product Review: 200 Magic: The Gathering Basic Lands from GoldenGroundhog

These cards all came in a giant stack together, but the packaging was great. There were no bents on the edges of the cards. All the cards look clean and straight, basically mint condition. As mentioned in the description this pack contains 200 cards. There are 40 of each land type card and there are 5 foil cards. They also have some of their own cards in here with cool designs as a bonus.

I highly recommend this company. Their cards come in mint quality and they are a good price for the sheer amount of cards you're getting in these packs. These land cards were a great way to build up a new deck.

Product Review: Yugioh Random 4 Booster Pack Lot From GoldenGroundhog

These cards arrived very secure and in mint condition. There were no bents or dents on the card or the tin box. I've attached pictures of the packaging and some of the cards i ended up getting, including a Blue Eyes White Dragon and a couple other cool ones too. They also come with an free pack of sleeves for the cards and the sleeves are also very nice. They are tight enough to hold the card in, but loose enough that the actual process of putting all the cards in the sleeves goes by quickly. The fit is also great.

For those worried about fake cards, these are completely real and there's no reason to worry.

Product Review: Premium Double Squeezer Bundle w/ Zester

I was very surprised at the quality of this product. I have a lot more expensive lemon squeezers in my house and honestly this is one of the best one's i have ever used. The squeezer is heavy, and well built. It looks very durable and feels more expensive than it really is. It will squeeze lemons easily and maybe even crack your toes if you drop it on them.

This lemon squeezer will also make for great gift due to how well made and built it is. There is also a bonus zester included and it works great as well.

These are some great teething rings. They are very well made, they are so soft, but firm enough to do their job. They feel very durable, so you don't have to worry about any problems with getting chewed up.

Product Review: Selfie Stick by Techsavycoo

 Selfie Sticks, love them or make fun of them, but you can't deny how useful they are. No more worrying about handing your $600 phone to a stranger, no more not being able to fit the whole family in a picture, no more making your least beloved family member take the picture of the rest of the family.

I own a couple selfie sticks, and i have to say that this has quickly shot up as one of my favorites. Other selfie sticks i have gotten have cheap quality feel to them, this one does not. It's painted a lot better, it feels a lot stronger and durable and just plain looks more professional than the others.

I tried this with my iPhone 6+ and it worked great. The fit was perfect. I wasn't at all worried about dropping my phone or it slipping off.

Overall, this is one of the best selfie sticks on the market. The thick, durable, professional feel alone makes this one stand out from the rest.

Product Review: Midori Spring Organic Ceremonial Matcha

When i first tried this matcha, i was not a big fan of the taste. My wife on the other hand loved it, the customer service people automatically send out a youtube and website link to the recipe for making this matcha, and we followed all instructions when we made it. Although my wife loved it, i was not a big fan of it, but in the same email with the instructions Midori Spring also said that for those that do not enjoy the original taste should try it with honey.

I absolutely loved this Matcha with honey. It tasted so much better, my wife preferred the original though. The tiny looking cup surprisingly lasted a long time, I think this product is definitely worth the money for the taste and amount.

Armada

While Ready Player One quickly became a fan and critic favorite, as proven by the upcoming movie, Armada fared a lot worse. I put this book off reading all the negativity surrounding it, but i was finally able to finish the book today. I have to say, I think critics have been overly harsh on this book. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read, while it was lacking a bit of excitement, it more than made up for it by it's charm.

This is not to say the book has no negatives. Some characters are very flat and boring, infact a lot of characters are. The constant references can indeed get tiring. Some times there are entire paragraph of pop culture references listed one after the another as an comparison to what's currently happening in the book.

I think all of these negatives don't do enough to make the book as bad as many say it is. If you're up for some light hearted SciFi adventure, there's not much better in the market than Ernest Cline's Armada.

Product Review: CozyPony Car Charger

The first thing i noticed about this car charger is that it's very well built. I've bought a couple cheap car chargers that have loose parts and look like they won't last very long, but that is not the case with his one. This car charger is looks like it will last me quite a while.

Another thing i noticed is that it's very fast. It charges my phone quickly, much faster than my old one. I love the speed, and it's definitely taken place as my main car charger. It also has two USB ports, so more people in the family can charge their phones at a time. It definitely helps speed things up.

Overall, i'm very impressed by this little car charger. It's fast, durable and well built. I highly recommend this car charger to everyone looking for one.

Product Review: 10 Foot iPhone/iPad Charging Cable

Quick Product Review:

I'm really glad i got this lightning cable. I'm no longer bound to the side of my couch where the power outlet is to charge my phone, i can now move all the way to the other side of the couch, which i always found to be an comfier side. The wire is also very durable, so it won't easily break. I've gone through a couple apple's lightning cable where it always rips on the end that connects to your phone. This cord has some additional protection there to prevent it from breaking.

Very well built, very durable and very long!

The Copy

I went into this book not knowing anything about what to expect. I was approached by the author to provide a honest review in exchange for a copy of the book. I started reading this book yesterday, and i could not stop. Sadly, sleep and work did get in the way. I finally finished the book today and i have to say i am very impressed.

There's a quick pace to the book as the author, Boshoff, keeps the plot moving quickly with quick witted dialogue and interesting plot lines. The readers are rewarded at every turn of the page with twists, revelations and suspenseful scenes. The book raises some interesting philosophical ideas to linger on long after the book is over.

I'm hesitant to go too in-depth into the story as i want other readers to experience the book the same way i did. Not expecting anything and being surprised at everything.

I recommend this book to any speculative sci-fi fans, mystery fans, and court room drama fans. There's a lot to like in this book, i'm sure you'll enjoy it.

A book that needs little introduction. By now, you've heard of this book almost every day. With a upcoming movie release and a certain recent NASA announcement, the book is trending on Twitter and in your social circle.

So what's the big deal?

Here is my review of the book:

You won't be able to stop reading. You won't be able to stop laughing. And best of all, you'll love every second. Weir delivers to the readers a protagonist that everyone wants to root for. It's been quite a while since I've read a book with a truly good and exciting protagonist. There's no dark layers behind him, there's no morally grey past, instead we have someone who is instantly lovable, likable and relatable. The science aspect of the book would get any nerd excited as Mark figures out how to survive on the red planet. 

A great book, worth a read by any nerd and those tired of the morally grey protagonists that plague almost every book.

A Brief History of Seven Killings: A Novel

Marlon James takes all your exceptions about this wildy popular novel and blows them out of the water. James delivers in every aspect. There are many characters, but none are just simple names. Each character is memorable in his or her own way, and it's a show of talent that James was able to juggle his massive cast and make you still care about everyone. The novel takes place over a time period of 15 years, in a kind of culture that you've never thought about too much. There's a lot of violence, rape, and unconventional sex, but it never feels like it's there for purely shock value. It's a great novel and one i can't recommend enough.
