If you want to make fancy looking eggs or pancakes in perfect circles than this is to tool to do it. It;s made from silicone and it does not melt when cooking on the frying pan. It's supposed to not melt up to 446 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's pretty safe to use if you're worried about it melting and ruining your pan.
Like most people here, i did run into the leaking problem where the mixture or egg whites would leak outside the rings. I was able to fix the problem by slighting dipping the bottom of the rings into pancake batter, or even something like butter. Just anything to stick it to the pan would work. Doing that fixed any problems i had with leaks.
Overall, this is a great tool to make some delicious looking eggs or pancakes. I highly recommend this to anyone who cooks.
