I've always had trouble with my lawn not being as healthy as i would have liked it to be, especially when my neighbors have a much better looking lawn right next to mine. I know "the grass is always greener on the other side", but I've never really liked my lawn. I asked my neighbors what their "trick" was and apparently one of the things they got done on their lawn was a professional machine aeration. I looked into it and it's way to expensive for me.
I found these cheaper solution on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. I've had these for a while and i've been using it daily. I have a large lawn, so i've been doing parts of it at a time. These are very tiring to use, if you have a really large lawn it might be a better option to get it professionally done with a machine.
I haven't noticed much difference in quality of my grass, but it also hasn't been that long since i completed the entire aeration.
As for the shoes themselves, they didn't take too long assemble. Probably about 20 mins tops, but i still would have preferred if they came pre-built in a larger box.
Overall, this is a great product and i highly recommend it. It's not the most convenient way to aerate your lawn, but it's definitely the cheapest one.
