This is a wonderful book that i can only describe as a nice, loving, comfort book. The entire book takes place across a single day and follows a large cast of characters centered around a jazz club called The Cat's Pajamas. The book is very well written in a quick, but loving prose that moves the book at a brisk pace, with there being plenty of emotional stops along the way. There is a very surrealistic tone to this book that will some readers pretty confused at the end, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I don't want to spoil too much, but i highly recommend this book. It's worth a read and a discussion.
